Regenda gets £2m Aigburth housing scheme under way
Housing group Regenda is set to start work on a £2m affordable housing development next to Aigburth Cricket Club, designed by architect Paddock Johnson Partnership.
The scheme, named Beechwood Gardens, secured planning permission from Liverpool City Council in July this year, and features 14 two-bed apartments, all of which are available for shared ownership.
Regenda’s in-house construction arm, M&Y Maintenance and Construction, is starting work on the project this month and will complete the 12-month build programme in November next year. Elements of the building fabric, including the roof trusses and pre-cast concrete floors, will be manufactured off-site.
The homes will be made available for sale through Regenda’s Redwing Living business.
Along with the Paddock Johnson Partnership, the professional team also includes CPC Project Services; structural engineer the Alan Johnson Partnership; and building services engineer Davies Partnership.
