Derwent signs new tenants to Warrington retail park
Derwent Group has announced a series of deals on units at its JunctionNINE Retail Park, formerly Alban Retail Park, following a £9m refurbishment programme.
The £9m investment has seen the park refurbished and extended, leading to around 22,000 sq ft of deals with new tenants in recent months.
Fast food chain Subway, which has secured a 969 sq ft unit 6G on a 10-year lease; specialist bed retailer Dreams has signed up to a 10-year lease on 8,000 sq ft; Nandos is due to exchange this month on 3,500 sq ft on a 20-year term; Starbucks has signed for a 1,850 sq ft unit on a 20-year term; and Pets at Home exchanged last month on an 8,758 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease.
Derwent Group said it is currently in detailed negotiations with a further three retail and leisure brands.

JunctionNINE Retail Park totals 211,000 sq ft of retail space and 963 free car parking spaces.
