Grosvenor promotes facilities manager to run Liverpool One
Liverpool One Management Company has appointed Chris Bliss as its estate director.
Bliss, formerly project facilities manager, will have full responsibility for property management services such as safety, cleanliness and customer service.
He will lead a team of 120 on-site staff at the £1bn scheme which opened last year. Bliss replaced Joanne Jennings who left after 18 months in the role.
As project facilities manager, Bliss, who joined the development team for Liverpool One four years ago, was responsible for the implementation of all site wide electronic and management services.
Bliss said: "Now Liverpool One is open there are a whole new set of operational challenges and I am delighted to be taking on this important role to ensure we continue to strive for the highest standards in safety, cleanliness and customer service."
Miles Dunnett, head of asset management for Liverpool One, said: "Chris is an ideal candidate for this role and we are delighted to have been afforded the opportunity to recruit someone who can really hit the ground running. His detailed knowledge of the site, the management team and its strategic direction is second to none, which will give him a considerable head start in delivering on the demands of the role as Liverpool One cements its position in the city."
Liverpool One Management Company is a joint venture between Grosvenor and Broadgate Estates, a specialist property management company.
