A rare opportunity for a senior building surveyor looking to advance to associate level. A multi-disciplinary consultancy who have office nationwide are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team in Manchester. This exciting surveyor role has come about due to continued steady expansion and new projects awarded to them. The role will see you nurture the talents of new graduates working through their APC, help to help strategic regional growth with the Director though new business wins and market knowledge and relationships.
This role is tailor made for an ambitious surveyor who wants the stability of a National organization with a dynamic, forward thinking consultancy. This is a role which you will mold and make truly autonomous.
While this role is Manchester based you will be given the opportunity to work with clients in the local area through to international companies. This role will see you work predominantly within the commercial sector delivering projects such as large scale refurbishments and bespoke professional services.
This role provides the opportunity to progress, work on multi-million pound projects and develop your skills with a range of interesting and prestigious ventures.
Duties and responsibilities of Senior/Principal Building Surveyor
- Building Surveys
- Technical Due Diligence
- Quality Monitoring
- Design and Contract Administration
- Project Management of refurbishment schemes
- Identify growth opportunities
- Tendering for new business
- Working within commercial field
- Expanding client portfolio to cover more of the North West
Required Skills and Experience
- Building Surveying Degree
- Experience managing projects
- MRICS, newly qualified or chartered
- Extensive knowledge of current legislation and building regulations
- Driven and enthusiastic
- Able to mentor more junior members of the team
- Client facing
Salary is negotiable and will vary from £38,000 – £42,000 plus car, pension and other benefits
