This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Senior level Building Surveyor, with experience of – and a real passion for – building and leading a small Building Surveying team. You will have a wide range of valuable management skills and experience both technically and commercially. You will be expected to support and grow the existing team. This is a business management and client facing role, as well as developing new clients, winning business and playing an active part in the leadership of projects and survey work.
There is a strong existing client base upon which to expand the team, with the majority of work being within the residential, commercial and public sectors.
You will be responsible for leading, and developing a Building Surveying service in Manchester. You will proactively contribute to the development of the client base, support and develop a culture of cross-discipline working, develop and maintain business relationships, set and manage client expectations and agree fee schedules and commercial terms.
A Chartered Building Surveyor, with strong professional and project management capabilities. You will have some experience of managing junior members of the team, as well as being able to deliver an exceptional service to clients. You will have the ability to manage other professionals, both internally and externally, as well as assistants and be able to collaborate and influence other team members and clients. You will have a very good understanding of financial management.
You will possess strong communication skills, be a team player and have a can do attitude.
