Senior Drainage Engineer, In-House

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Drainage Engineer looking for an opportunity with a difference? This is a rare & unique opportunity, working in-house, within a national property team.

Primarily you’ll be responsible for designing drainage systems including foul, surface water, SUDs, below ground building drainage and pumping stations, focussing on water re-usage.

Your role

Working on a range of projects based from the Warrington office, as an experienced Drainage Engineer you will make a valued contribution in terms of delivering a range of water re-usage schemes at sites across the UK, as part of the companies sustainability goals and strategy. You will be a qualified Civil Engineer, experienced in hydraulic modelling of drainage systems, proficient in the use of MicroDrainage, WinDes or similar, and have a thorough knowledge of Sustainable Drainage Systems. With complex problem solving skills, you’ll also take the lead in supervising the site and work to legislation and maintenance standards.

Skills and experience

The salary available is dependent on skills and experience, but is generous, and designed to attract the best in their field.  A degree or similar in Civil Engineering, knowledge of infrastructure design, SUDS, and the ability communicate clearly and concisely is required, Calm when under pressure, and a quality driven approach will also ensure success in the role.
