An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 x Planning Officers to join our Development Management Team. The team has an increasingly busy workload as development interest in the borough continues to grow.

Following an increase in application numbers, we are looking to recruit new planning officers to play key roles in supporting Stockport’s ambitious growth agenda in ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality development for the benefit of all.

We are seeking experienced, self-motivated, and enthusiastic planning professionals with sound judgement and a commitment to quality place-making and sustainability. You will be able to thrive in a dynamic, sometimes challenging but ultimately rewarding and supportive environment. Working across the borough you would play a lead role in the assessment of major development proposals from the pre-application stage through to delivery and completion on site.
