About you

We are looking for a highly accomplished, ambitious and determined Chartered Town Planner to join the Place Directorate’s leadership team. A ‘can do’ attitude is essential, as is an appreciation of political sensitivities and soundtrack record of delivering first class, high performing services in a political environment. You will lead on customer service improvements and embed this into the culture of the service.

You will be the principal advisor to the Director of Place, elected members and Tameside Council Team on all Planning and Strategic Transport matters.
