      Introducing an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful, growing,  Risk Management Team as a Fire Compartmentation Project Manager.

      Job Summary

      The Fire Compartmentation Project Manager will support Fire Consultancy team, controlling & co-ordinating a  number of fire risk management contracts.

      You will be highly proficient in compartmentation and be able to examine and approve the teams work, ensuring all reports are issued correctly and in-line with regulations and meets the clients expectations.

      You will;

      • Have responsibility for meeting invoicing targets on all projects including managing and having responsibility for resourcing levels.
      • Support the Head of Department in achieving successful sign off on projects including answering client queries and chasing debt as required.
      • Support the growth of customer relationships with both existing and new clients through fully understanding their requirements and delivering technically excellent services to agreed deliverables.
      • Manage day to day delivery of work via direct reports. Help to create an effective and high performing consultancy/surveying team.
      • Act as the expert for the Property Appraisal workstream; also supporting QA and sign off deliverables. Agree protocols with Head of Department to ensure the business minimises risk in providing the service.
      • Have the ability to deliver Condition/6 Facet surveys.
      • Attend and contribute to Property Appraisal Meetings.
      • Support the development of colleagues where appropriate so they have the skills and motivation to undertake their roles. Lead recruitment assessment of potential new starters.
      • Deliver agreed revenue targets based on team size, business won and output GM.

      About you & Your experience. You will;

      • Understand and apply commercial and financial principles. View issues in terms of costs, profits, markets and added value.
      • Create new and imaginative approaches to work related issues. Identify fresh approaches and shows a willingness to question traditional assumptions.
      • Be highly motivated – committed to work hard and be goal oriented & enthusiastic.
      • Sound knowledge of the Property Appraisal Services and providing expert advice, with circa 5 years recent, relevant experience.
