The Manchester Metrolink: phase 3 expansion explained

Forum for the Built Environment is holding a North West branch networking breakfast on Thursday 17 September 2009. Guest speaker David Powell of Parsons Brinckerhoff, GMPTE delivery partner, will present a summary of the changes taking place to the existing Metrolink system which is currently undergoing a £150m investment and will also outline the plans for the expansion of Metrolink with new lines currently being built to Oldham/Rochdale, Droylsden and Chorlton with plans for further expansion. Doors open at 7.15am with breakfast served at approx 7.45am. It aims to be finished by 9am, but people are welcome to remain at the venue until approx 9.30am for additional networking, etc. The cost will be free to members, £25 for non-members. Everyone attending must book in advance, so that the correct number of breakfasts can be ordered.
