We'd like to extend an invite to our clients and contacts in Bolton and surrounding areas to the next event in our series of Landlord Forums.

The forums take place every two months and are aimed at informing residential landlords and those who assist them of the latest legislation affecting their business.

The event is jointly run by Stephensons and ROK, with the next forum taking place on June 16th 2010 between 3.30pm and 5pm at ROK's offices in Westhoughton, near Bolton.

Louise Hebborn, an associate solicitor in Stephensons' Commercial department, will be available at the event to answer landlord's questions. Louise has a wealth of experience in advising landlords and can offer fixed-fee services in some instances.

She said: "The next forum will include a useful presentation by ROK on how to keep properties in good repair. It will focus on key issues of repairs for residential-let properties, including PAT testing, gas certification and heating – all of which can cause a landlord problems if they are not maintained.

"The events usually provide a good forum for debate and the aim is to provide residential landlords, their agents and all those who help and assist landlords with the tools required to manage their property portfolios successfully."

The event will begin with the formal presentation, followed by informal networking with other attendees, which include letting agents, property managers, landlords and others in the industry. At the end of the session there is also the opportunity to tell other attendees about your business.

If you would like to come along, email Lesley Davies, lad@stephensons.co.uk to register your attendance.
