A one day conference to examine and promote opportunities for achieving sustainable growth in North West England.

Organised by the North West Business Leadership Team in collaboration with Local Enterprise Partnerships and BIS North West, with support from the Regional Leaders Board, Chambers of Commerce, Institute of Directors North West, the North West Universities Association and Voluntary Sector North West.

This event will examine the issues on which Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) might collaborate, and decide on the specific action needed, to support the sustainable economic growth of the North West over the next 15-20 years. The objectives of the conference are to:-

  • To demonstrate support for LEPs in the North West and bring together the LEPs with other key private, public and third sector partners.
  • To identify issues on which LEPs could collaborate to drive sustainable economic growth.
  • To agree the specific actions needed, including responsibilities, risks and timescales.
  • To identify linkages between issues and ensure integration as necessary.
  • To determine where further work is needed e.g. to collect/refresh evidence on particular issues
