This event will look at the rural planning system, the importance of designated and non-designated landscapes as well as the effective integration and balancing of economic, social and environmental factors in promoting sustainable development of our rural areas. It will explore a range of topics such as Dark Sky Zones, Class Q, accessibility to rural spaces, AONB’s and protected landscapes and will provide a case law update specifically tailored to rural matters. This event is not to be missed for those working in the areas with a rural focus or those with an interest in the rural environment.

This event could count as appropriate CPD for RTPI members – remember to keep a record of your learning, including your learning outcomes, in your CPD record
