Please note this event has been moved from 29 April to 22 October

Conserving and enhancing the historic environment is an integral element of sustainable development, but often considered as a constraint. We will explore the language surrounding heritage and the profession, and how this influences interactions and perceptions and whether we need to change our language and rebrand heritage.  We will also explore the role of heritage in creating places and spaces that people want to live and work and the benefits to wellbeing. The event will be of interest to planners, conservation professionals, architects and developers.

This event could count as appropriate CPD for RTPI members – remember to keep a record of your learning, including your learning outcomes, in your CPD record
