The growing agenda around critical health issues suchy as sedentary lifestyles, air quality and an ageing population is integral to the future planning and design of our built environment.
Spatial planning and urban design are enablers of health and well-being, creating places that consider these complex issues and encourage active travel, access to green space, and support the delivery of places appropriate to the population’s needs. This event will provide an insight into how health, planning and urban design can combine to support successful placemaking.
