This year's event will be a 'how to' guide for all those interested, involved and participating in the conservation of the historic environment. A range of public and private sector speakers will provide guidance on the key elements and tools in the heritage profession, including how to understand:

  • Materials and common structural issues
  • A Significance Assessment
  • A Conservation Area Appraisal
  • Setting
  • Archaeology

The event will serve as an introduction to heritage, but also as a useful top-up for planners already working in the historic environment.
