Places Matter Design and Placemaking Briefing

This briefing will help to provide urban design knowledge and show how planning and design fit together. It will consider what makes a successful place and how it can be well designed: providing the homes, local facilities and amenities we need.

By sharing experiences of what works in planning and development, and where things might go wrong, we aim to provide the foundations to help all those working across the built environment to make more robust decisions and create better places for all.
