Official opening of Bridgewater Way

The Mayor of Trafford will officially open the Bridgewater Way in Trafford on Friday 4 June.
The £8m project is being promoted by the Bridgewater Canal Trust, a partnership comprising seven local authorities including Wigan, Salford, Trafford, Manchester, Cheshire East, Warrington and Halton, along with the canal owners the Peel Group, with support from a range of partnership funders.
A range of activities are taking place along the Bridgewater Canal until Sunday 6 June to mark its opening.
