This may be the first time you have considered taking an apprentice or you just want to find out the latest advantages to doing so. This event has been designed to give your company the information needed to consider taking apprentices in the future and the advantages this can give your company.

Speakers:

Paul Mallinder, Director for Business Partnerships – Urban Vision Partnership

Paul Mallinder has over 30 years' experience of providing consultancy advice and support on the design and introduction of effective, robust and often pioneering construction framework procurement and supply chain management. Paul will be detailing the advantages that can be gained from companies who take apprentices when tendering for contracts.

Roy Cavanagh MBE – Seddon Group

Roy Cavanagh MBE has worked in the industry for a number of years and has been a great supporter of training and development, understanding the need to ensure the industry continues to develop to meet the needs of the built environment, improving the standards and effectiveness of your business. Roy will be giving a company perspective on the recruitment, training and development of apprentices.

Veronica McNamara, Apprenticeship Officer – CITB – ConstructionSkills

Veronica McNamara has been an apprentice training officer for 20 years, the past five years dealing with construction apprentices with CITB-ConstructionSkills. Veronica will be detailing the support available to companies in the recruitment, registration and development of apprentices as well as grants available.

This is your opportunity to find out how an apprentice can help develop your company, your current staff and the whole host of advantages this can bring.
