Media City Topping Out

Phase one of the UK’s biggest private sector construction site is about to reach its peak. On Wednesday, July 8 a customary ‘Topping Out’ ceremony will be held to mark the completion of the highest point ofMediaCityUK in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester (more information on MediaCityUK below). The ceremony will take place on the 19th floor of the South Tower of the MediaCityUK Studio Block, which at more than 300 ft tall is the development’s highest point. Following the ceremony there will be a sneak preview of the MediaCityUK studios – one of the largest high definition TV facilities in Europe.
