Grosvenor's Liverpool One is the topic of discussion at next week's construction best practice club event in the new Hilton hotel, located in Liverpool city centre.
The 42-acre Liverpool One was shortlisted for this year's RIBA Stirling Prize and was constructed by Laing O'Rourke.
The seminar will ask questions such as what were the challenges in setting up and constructing such a huge and complicated project? What are the issues now that the dust has settled?
Guest speakers include:
- Guy Butler – Grosvenor, developer
- Graham Flynn – Laing O'Rourke, constructor
- Marcus McGee – General manager, Liverpool Hilton, tenant
The event next week will be rounded off by a short tour of the new hotel for those who are interested, as well as a festive drink.
