FBE Webinar – The Arts Perspective

Date: 11 November 2020 - 11 November 2020, 12:30 - 2:00

Location: Online

Email: ged.couser@bdp.com

The Arts Perspective event will explore the relationship between entertainment, art & culture and the City, space & place.

Across all building or project typologies within the City, investment into the creation of places for culture and entertainment was at a high, pre-pandemic. But given current circumstances, what is the outlook now?

We’ll hear from developers, committed to flagship projects in the City which are creating incredible backdrops to pioneering cultural events, as well as those with a vested interest in the night-time economy. These are key voices for what is needed in this brave new world.

Launching the debate with a keynote will be Walk The Plank who specialise in ‘bringing people and communities together to generate a sense of place through public celebration’.

We are delighted to welcome a fantastic panel to discuss all of the issues at this difficult time including:

  • Liz Pugh, creative producer, Walk The Plank
  • Tim Heatley, co-founder, Capital & Centric
  • Martyn Evans, creative director, U+I
  • Sacha Lord, Greater Manchester Night Time Economy Adviser

Chairing the debate will be Ged Couser from BDP and Anita Singh from Turner and Townsend – both committee members of FBE Manchester
