Following on from our popular “A Tale of Two Cities” event last year, where we heard about different parts of Manchester, we can now hear about devolution, the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and the creation of a mayor for Greater Manchester.

With devolution impacting everything from skills and spatial planning to carbon and compulsory purchase orders we are likely to see a range of new opportunities over the next few years.

Tony Lloyd is the current interim mayor and police and crime commissioner. He is also seeking the nomination to be the Labour Party’s candidate.
