Diversity & Inclusion in Construction: Attracting & retaining talent

Those in the construction sector often suggest that Diversity and Inclusion is perceived as Health and Safety was a couple of decades ago, recognised as being a valuable attribute but not universally accepted as core to the value of businesses and the sector.  The tide is changing and more and more leaders expect their employees, partners and suppliers to not only get the business case for inclusion but drive inclusion.

The time to embrace this is now, with many of our public sector clients looking to us to demonstrate how they are meeting their equality objectives, the unattractive reading of gender pay gap reports, the rumours of a race pay gap reporting requirement and the imperative to find the talented workforce of the future. Our speaker, Barbra Carlisle, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead at Arcadis will explore the value of good employment practices in attracting and retaining talent and the role each of us play in creating an inclusive place to work.

Fee: £15 / free to Members of Constructing Excellence Manchester
