Our seminar programme recently discussed the reform of the regulatory environment its application to the design and construction process and the emerging new responsibilities.  As we move into 2020, with recent and planned changes to the Regulations falling into place, we now have a clearer view and much to learn.

This seminar, presented by Richard Cymler, a Regional Director of CE members Ball and Berry, will give you an essential overview of the implications of Regulation 7, the 2019 Approved Document B Volume 1 & 2 and the proposals for Parts F and L 2020 in terms of environmental performance together with procedural changes resulting from the Hackitt Review, which will all have significant impact on the design of both low and high rise residential buildings in particular.

Richard is responsible for the management and running of B & B’s Birmingham office, as well as leading on projects, maintaining client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. Having worked in the building control sector for more than 35 years, Richard uses his extensive experience of complex projects, supporting clients through the challenges of building control, inspections and regulations.
