The North West Coastal Forum and IEMA NW (the North West Regional branch of the Insitute of Environmental Management and Assessment) are jointly organising a conference for IEMA members and other coastal stakeholders. Looing at the Marine and Coastal Access Bill, the new Marine Management Organisation, an industry perspective on the Marine Bill, national strategies for coastal management, a Regional Coastal Strategy for North West England and the Shoreline Management Planning review for North West England and North Wales the event will explore the implications for businesses and will include expert speakers and a field trip. The main event and networking lunch are free to attend although a small charge of £8 will be made for the field trip only (limited places available). The event will be held in Chester.
