This cross-sector conference will offer market insight and updates on development opportunities and the plans shaping them. Logistics, housing, business parks, town centres, the rural economy and more will be discussed at this event.

8am Arrival, breakfast + networking

9am Welcome, presentation + panel discussion:

Peter Carstensen, chair, Chester Growth Partnership, which oversees the progress of One City Plan projects to ensure opportunities for economic growth are maximised for Chester and the wider sub-region
Katrina Kerr
, chair, Chester BID, which represents 464 businesses in Chester city centre to create an enticing overall visitor experience and ensure continued investment
James Nicholson, managing director, Harlex Property, an investor and developer looking for opportunities to unlock the potential of sites and buildings, from the major cities to smaller regional towns
Max Walker-Williams, founder, Walker & Williams, owners of boutique aparthotels whose plans include redeveloping derelict buildings in Chester to create a 52-bedroom five-star hotel
Jayne Hennessy, development manager, Peel NRE & board member, Ellesmere Port Development Board, an enterprise team tasked with expanding the town and improving the quality of life of its residents by creating thousands of new jobs, attracting millions of pounds in outside investment, and building 7,000 new houses

Sandy Livingstone, executive director of property, Onward Homes, a leading provider of quality, affordable homes for rent and sale in the North West who manage over 35,000 properties across the region
Simon Kennish, property director, Bolesworth Estate, a 6,500 acre estate with over 150 commercial tenants, and a portfolio including traditional office space, industrial units, bespoke retail and leisure developments as well as a number of residential properties
Heather Standidge, associate, Cushman & Wakefield. Heather works in the development and strategic advisory team specialising in strategic property and regeneration advice at both a site-specific and strategic level. She continues to advise on the market and economic potential of various town centre, employment and residential locations across Cheshire
Ben Thornley, chartered town planner, Cassidy + Ashton, a multidisciplinary practice with diverse experience in architecture, building surveying, town planning and principal design. The Chester team has worked on a number of high profile built environment projects for clients such as Chester Zoo, Halton Borough Council, University of Liverpool, Airbus, and Anwyl Partnerships

12pm Closing remarks, networking + lunch

Tickets cost £65 +VAT. There will be a mix of presentations and panels. Breakfast and lunch are included, providing plenty of opportunity for business development.
