CECA live debate and annual dinner

Date: 23 September 2011, 12:00 - 12:00

Location: Crowne Plaza Hotel, Princes Dock, Liverpool, L3 1QW

Email: ceca.northwest@virgin.net

The Live Debate is aimed at civil engineers, construction professionals, consultants, clients, suppliers, local authorities, national overseeing organisations, planning professionals, funding organisations and investors.

"With spending cuts continuing to bite, it has become increasingly more apparent that the UK Construction and Civil Engineering sector needs to deliver innovative solutions to sustain the Nation's ailing infrastructure. With a focus on "lean" and "efficiency" the UK construction sector remains well positioned to deliver future investment, but it must also adapt to changing markets, seek to collaborate and integrate, and deliver more for less. With an excellent showcase of regional speakers, this live debate seeks to illustrate and understand what "behavioural changes" need to be encouraged and how with innovation at the heart of delivery, a more sustainable approach to infrastructure investment can be adopted."
