Building for Life 12 Training

Building for Life 12 is a government endorsed industry standard for well-designed homes and neighbourhoods.

This training session will equip you with the key skills you need to understand BfL12 and help to provide you with urban design knowledge which shows how planning and design fit together.

Using a series of group-based activities and presentations you will explore how the BfL12 approach can be used to assess the design quality of existing and proposed places and how you can use it when working with Local authorities, communities and developers to guide discussions about creating good places to live.
