4×4 Manchester is back for 2015!
4×4 Manchester will happen every Wednesday evening in May. There will be 4 talks, each talk lasting 15 minutes, with time for a lively audience debate afterwards. The series is being hosted by Steve Connor of Creative Concern. Come along to one or all four!
Each week we will focus on a different area of Manchester which has undergone regeneration. We will invite 4 people involved in the regeneration process at various times back together for a Reunion. They will be speaking about the project from different perspectives, and through this process we will review the regeneration process and outcomes, the successes and failures, as well as understand what the pressures were at the time of designing and building as well as take a look to the future of the area.
1. Hulme, The Reunion: Where we live 6th May
2. Sport City, The Reunion: Where we play 13th May
3. Salford Quays, The Reunion: Where we watch 20th May
4. Cultural Quarter? The Reunion: Where we imagine 27th May
