Director of Building Services, Consultancy

We are currently seeking a Director of Building Services, to lead a team of consultants. Due to succession planning, we are looking to appoint a senior level individual, with the drive and determination to grow the North West team.

The firm have ambitious growth plan and have already secured a strong pipeline of work for 2023/24, across both the public and private sectors.

This role could suit an experienced Associate, or Associate Director who is ready to progress their career, or you will already be operating at Director level. You will have either a Mechanical or Electrical design background.

You will have full autonomy to develop the team, as well as the opportunity to gain equity if desired.

Requirements

• Degree qualified and preferably Chartered with CIBSE or similar
• At least ten years’ experience gained within a Design consultancy
• Background in either Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Good awareness of BIM, Sustainability and MEP overall
• Previous experience leading a team
• Excellent eye for detail and will previously been a “hands-on” Design Engineer
• Previous experience assisting with fee bids and resource planning
• Able to plan, manage and deliver projects from feasibility to construction
