NERF Retail Manager

A fantastic opportunity has come available to join NERF ACTION EXPERIENCE – Nerf’s UK Family Entertainment Venue and world’s only dedicated Nerf Retail store as their ON-SITE RETAIL STORE MANAGER.

Opening in Summer 2023, the store will be located in Trafford Palazzo in Manchester, adjacent to this brand new attraction. This is a great opportunity to join a company during the planning process, to be involved in the opening, preparation and recruitment of your own on-site team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for full commercial control of the retail store to include; Merchandising, Commercial planning, Stock management, Sales, Planograms, Visual impact, Stock ordering.
You will allocate tasks to Retail Assistants in your store daily, develop their skills and keep them motivated and engaged. You will also need to manage till areas as required – making sure all customers have an excellent experience! You will lead by example and put customers/guests at the forefront to develop a driven, successful team in order to maximise sales.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Results driven and enjoy being “hands on” in the day to day running of their very own store
• Organised, great at multi-tasking and prioritising tasks
• You will be passionate about providing the customer with an amazing experience
• You will have strong commercial knowledge and be able to think and act strategically
• You will have proven experience of leading and coaching an engaged store team who deliver consistent results

Offering a basic salary of up to £40,000 plus additional rewards and benefits, and an excellent workplace culture being an incredibly fun place to work!

This is a full-time position, shifts are based on 42.5 hours per week. Monday to Sunday, including weekends and late evenings. Flexibility is vital for this role and a DBS check may be required.
