The practice:

An opportunity has arisen for a Job Running Architectural Technologist to join a well know medium sized practice in Manchester. The varied projects they run require a high level of technical expertise, as a result their current team is made up of as many technicians as architects. This in turn has created career opportunities for the technical team rarely seen in other places.
The role:

The Job Running Technologist will take control of their own projects and manage deadlines to ensure successful delivery. With a regular on-site presence, you will respond to the daily challenges of the job and manage clients, consultants and contractors. You will also have the opportunity to work across a range of sectors depending on the life-span of the job. The role would suit a confident and experienced technologist happy to be given a high level of autonomy.

Your skills:

With a proven track record of running medium/ large scale projects you will be able to demonstrate a high level of technical competence. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as you’ll communicate daily with a range of professionals and take responsibility for client satisfaction. As the practice almost exclusively uses Revit a working knowledge of the software would be an advantage.
