The Core Cities Summit 2009

A two day event on 3 and 4 November taking place at Liverpool's ACC Arena from 8am on both days.

This year's summit promises to inform, challenge and inspire delegates by presenting a unique programme of world-class thinking and debate on cities and the economy. The country's political and business leaders will gather in Liverpool to address the key economic and social issues facing Core Cities and the country at large.

Featuring senior decision-makers from government, business and the public sector, this year's format has been specially designed to deliver critical messages on urban policy and showcase the latest thinking and research on improving the future of our cities. Speakers include senior government ministers and opposition party spokespeople, business, public sector and academic leaders.

On both days, the Summit will be punctuated by a morning and afternoon refreshment break and a seated buffet lunch.
