Stockport Boost eco event

Stockport Council is inviting residents and businesses to attend an event on Friday 13 May to find out how they could boost their income by going green.

Agencies such as the Energy Saving Trust and accredited renewable energy installers will be on hand to offer advice and information about the the national Feed in Tariff scheme.

Homeowners can learn about green energy technologies for their home, such as solar panels, wind turbines, biomass boilers and ground source heat pumps.

Businesses can find out about options which can benefit their company including solar, wind, small scale hydro-electric power and eco-friendly heat generating technologies.

The event is free to attend and will be held at Stockport Town Hall Ballroom, Edward Street, SK1 3XE, visitors can drop in anytime between 10am and 3pm on Friday 13 May.
