The business event is being arranged by Warrington Council in collaboration with Jobcentre Plus and the National Apprenticeship Service and is being aimed at employers who want to find out how they can play a part in the future of Warrington's young people by helping them achieve their potential and at the same time:
- Improve and survive in today's tough economic climate
- Fill their skills gaps and tackle the issues of an ageing workforce
- Motivate their employees and increase productivity
On the day employers will hear from:
- Cllr Terry O'Neill, leader of Warrington Council
- A number of local employers about how training and development paid dividends for them, not only for their businesses but for their staff and the greater Warrington community as a whole
- Jobcentre Plus and the National Apprenticeship Service about how work experience and apprenticeships can work for you
