An opportunity in this centenary year to return to a core rural planning issue and consider how agriculture has and continues to change here in the North West. Delegates will be encouraged to understand how it functions and what its impacts and issues are within a sustainable countryside. The changing interface with the planning system will be assessed, including at policy, environmental conservation and development management levels.
