YPG secures consent for next Liverpool student flats

Yu Property Group has been granted planning permission for a student accommodation development on Liverpool’s Devon Street, totalling 162 apartments and for ground floor commercial units.

Knight Frank advised on the planning application for the six-to-eight storey building planned for a derelict site at 33 Devon Street.

Smith Young is the architect.

Andy McMullan, planning partner at Knight Frank, said: “The development is perfectly situated for both universities and research businesses and is close to the redevelopment of Royal Liverpool Hospital.

“The scheme will allow residents to live the student lifestyle whilst supporting local attractions and support Liverpool’s knowledge-based economies.”

Good place for this type of development, I hope this helps give London Road/Pembroke Place a bit of a boost!
