Wirral retail scheme fully let

The Derwent Group has signed Oak Furniture Land and Pure Gym in the final two units at its Junction One Retail Park at Bidston Moss in Wirral.

The furniture retailer has taken the 9,900 sq ft Unit 8, with the final space to be let at the scheme, the 7,200 sq ft Unit 9, going to Pure Gym for its first Wirral location.

Existing retailers at the scheme include Marks & Spencer Foodhall, Aldi, Home Bargains and Pets at Home. Pure Gym will open this September, while Oak Furniture Land is already trading.

James Maule-Ffinch, senior asset manager at Derwent, said: “Junction One Retail Park is just one of a number of retail schemes that the Derwent Group owns in the region and each is contributing to our aspiration of reaching our £50m turnover target.

“It’s great to be chosen by Pure Gym as its first Wirral operation which will give the park healthy night time activity.”

The park is located adjacent to Junction 1 of the M53 motorway, linking through to Liverpool via the Kingsway Tunnel.

Petch & Co is Derwent’s agent at Junction One Retail Park.
