Wheeler rolls onto MCR Property board
ICG-Longbow cofounder Martin Wheeler will advise the developer’s leadership team, utilising his decades of experience to shape the company’s growth strategy.
MCR Property currently has a pipeline of £1.5bn in both the industrial and residential sectors – it is a pipeline that MCR Property Group chief executive and founder Aneel Mussarat is keen to accelerate.
That is where Wheeler comes in as board advisor.
“Martin’s arrival marks a pivotal moment in our journey,” Mussarat said.
“His unparalleled experience and strategic foresight will be critical as we forge ahead with our ambitious growth aspirations.”
For his part, Wheeler said was looking forward to working alongside Mussarat’s team.
“I’ve known Aneel as a client for many years and have immense respect for what he and his team have achieved at MCR, so I’m thrilled to be able to contribute to the next phase in this exciting business journey,” he said.
MCR Property’s current projects include the redevelopment of the former Rochdale Road Gas Works into 1,200 homes.
