WH Snow to expand Port Arcades
Liverpool-based WH Snow has been awarded a £3m contract to expand the Port Arcades shopping centre in Ellesmere Port.
The project, awarded by centre owners Frogmore Real Estates Partners, will involve providing three new retail units totalling 17,500 sq ft and a new glazed feature entrance to the centre.
The Port Arcades shopping centre currently covers a total of 135,000 sq ft of retail space.
WH Snow said construction is planned to take place this month and will be complete by September 2011.
The 114 year old family owned local business added that phase one of the works is a major sewer diversion and will be complete by November with phase two commencing in January next year.

The scheme will be managed on behalf of Frogmore by Walker Sime's Liverpool office.
