Wates to overhaul Didsbury college site

Wates Construction has been awarded a £6.4m contract to refurbish The Manchester College's Fielden Campus on Barlow Moor Road in West Didsbury.
Wates' Manchester office will install new roofs and cladding, remodel interior spaces to create catering, hair and beauty training and office spaces, replace boilers and landscape the exterior.
The Manchestser College's main base is at Ask:Goodman's Central Park on Ashton Old Road in North Manchester.
The college said Wates won the contract after offering the lowest price for the work.
