Wates agrees Place partnership

The family-owned construction company has begun a 12-month marketing and business development campaign with Place North West.

“As a national business, Wates has always had a strong presence in the North and, as we work hard to support the government’s levelling up agenda, our growth here remains a top priority,” said Wates Construction North West regional director Dave Saville.

Place North West shares our vision to raise the visibility of the incredible opportunities for regeneration and development in the region, with both the public and private sectors, creating jobs and generating social value,” Saville continued.

“This new strategic partnership for 2022 will not only enable us to showcase our work, it will also support us to engage and build stronger connections with local leaders and partners, contributing to key conversations that can affect change within the industry.”

The bespoke agreement with Place North West includes:

  • Event sponsorships (Meet the Authorities on 7 July, Greater Manchester Development Update on 8 September, and Place RESI on 13 October)
  • Video roundtables
  • Content advice and consultancy
  • Thought leadership content

Place North West commercial director Dino Moutsopoulos explained how changes at Place have enabled the brand to do more than ever before.

“Our investment into our team these past few years means we can now advise more and help deliver even more bespoke work across all service lines, from editorial and video content to events and business development,” Moutsopoulos said.

“It looks to be a very exciting year for both Place North West and Wates. Watch this space.”

Wates is in good company as a Place North West partner. Place has also formed partnerships with JMW Solicitors, ITS, Morgan Sindall Construction, and Oppidan Life.

Place North West partnership packages are crafted specifically to meet your individual company’s needs and can include conference sponsorships, bespoke videos, exclusive roundtable discussions, and more. Learn more in our 2022 media pack.
