Walker Sime recruits Jackson as director
Peter Jackson has been named as the construction consultancy’s UK director of project management.
Jackson has stepped into a newly created senior role at Walker Sime, following two years at AtkinsRéalis, where he was both director and North West lead.
In a career spanning more than 30 years, Jackson has delivered commercial office spaces across the country and worked on town centre regeneration schemes, notably in Urmston and Chorlton.
He will be predominantly based out of Walker Sime’s Trafford Park headquarters, as well as from the company’s Liverpool and Leeds offices.
Jackson said: “The reliability, expertise, and personal touch that Walker Sime is known for really appealed to me.
“I’ve had the privilege of working alongside several members of the team over the years and have always been impressed by the quality of their work and their collaborative approach.”
Jackson said he is motivated by “transformative” projects and as a resident of the North West, he is heavily invested in the region.
Walker Sime has worked on various projects in the region, including ECF’s Stockport 8 and Bruntwood SciTech’s Greenheys.
