Van hire firm picks up £1.4m Birkenhead base

West Wallasey Fleet Hire Services has parked its hunt for a new home, settling on Survitec Group’s 108,100 sq ft employment site off Beaufort Road.

The company operates a fleet of 17,000 vehicles out of 40 Cross Lane in Wallasey. The deal for 1-3 Beaufort Road in Birkenhead set the company back £1.4m.

With a new owner in place, Survitec Group can officially cut ties with the location and formally complete its relocation to Arrow Capital Partners’ Aviator industrial complex in Ellesmere Port. Survitec had signed for 125,000 sq ft at Aviator in 2020.

“Sites such as this one don’t come along very often, and when they do we make sure our clients get the best possible deal,” said Rupert Chadwick-Dunbar, chartered surveyor at Legat Owen.

“Its prominent location within Liverpool’s freeport area and appealing future prospects made it an attractive site.”
