US manufacturer takes 50,000 sq ft in Chester

Kenmore has let 50,000 sq ft at Chester Gates Industrial Estate to US group CPM Wolverine Proctor.

CPM Wolverine Proctor signed a 15-year lease on the property, the final vacant unit on the site, at an annual rental of £3.75/sq ft. CPM Wolverine Proctor makes equipment for the food, chemical, tobacco, textile and web processing Industries.

Howard George, senior director of industrial agency at CBRE, joint letting agent with Legat Owen, commented: "There are very few lettings of this size on the market which fits with our client's strategy to acquire high specification assets. Kenmore's desire to increase income by successful asset management has been achieved through the lettings we have secured."

Chester Gates is off Junction 16 of the M56.
