Urban Vision director to chair ACES North West

Richard Wynne, director of property and development at Salford-based public-private partnership Urban Vision, has been appointed as chairman of the North West branch of the Association of Chief Estates Surveyors and Property Managers in the Public Sector.

ACES represents the professional heads of property and asset management services in local authorities and private sector advisers to public sector clients.

Wynne has been on the executive committee of ACES for four years, holding the position of senior vice chairman for the past year. He will be chairman for 12 months.

Richard currently heads up the property and development team at Urban Vision, a joint venture company between Salford City Council, Capita Symonds and Morrison Highways Maintenance. The company looks after a range of services including regeneration partnerships, property acquisition, sales, management, building and landscape design, project management, refurbishment, maintenance and the provision of facilities management and security services.
