United Utilities granted planning for Chorley site

United Utilities Property Solutions has gained outline planning approval for nearly 200 residential homes and 110,000 sq ft of business space at Duxbury Park in Chorley, Lancashire.

The proposed scheme includes the demolition of the Warrington-based developers' former training and conference facility, currently occupying the site, which has been closed since 2006.

Persimmon Homes' housing scheme, Duxbury Gardens, is located nearby, which was built on land previously owned by United Utilities Property Solutions.

Manchester-based HOW Planning advised United Utilities.
