UK Land/Pochin wins national award for Hawarden project

Joint venture partners UK Land & Property and Pochin have won a national considerate constructors award for work done at Hawarden Business Park in Flintshire, North Wales.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme Annual National Awards recognise schemes for showing excellent standards of consideration towards the workforce, neighbours and the environment.

Speaking about the award win, Jonathan Pochin, managing director at Pochin, said: "The criteria for considerate constructors is very much aligned with our core values, one of which is being a good neighbour. As such, we have adopted a company policy of always registering all of our projects with the scheme."

The contract involved the construction of units three and four at Hawarden Business Park, consisting of 40,000 sq ft.
