Turley promotes Diggle to senior director
The planning consultancy has made David Diggle a senior director in its northern planning team after more than 16 years with the firm.
He joined Manchetser-based Turley as a director in 2004 having spent the previous four years as senior planner at Cheshire County Council.
Diggle, who leads Turley’s health team, is advising on several large infrastructure developments, including the expansion of Port Warrington, a logistics hub on the Manchester Ship Canal owned by Peel Ports.
In his new role, he will continue to focus on projects across the north of England as well as supporting the company’s growing national portfolio of health and infrastructure work, according to Turley.
Diggle’s promotion is one of 17 across the business, including Andrew Lowe, who has been promoted to associate director in the firm’s economics team. Turley employs 69 staff at its office at 1 New York Street.
Stephen Bell, senior director at Turley, said: “The commitment and energy David brings to our northern team, and the entire business, is palpable. I am incredibly pleased that his contribution is being rewarded.
“His ability to advise on a wide range of project – from housing to airports, to hospitals – is reflective of how adaptable and agile he is.”
Well deserved Dave. Congratulations.
